We are constantly looking for ways to empower our children, to future-proof them with true wisdom, the kind of wisdom they can carry with them for a lifetime. The type of wisdom that will help them make good choices, be confident and live a happy life.
But, as a parent, you need...
The perfect solution is building a Wise for my Size Library!
In our experience, a parent's main concern is not knowing what to do or say when their child comes to them with a problem. Let's face it; they usually tell you as you tuck them up in bed. Then that's you up all night trying to Google the answer. It's not a nice feeling when you don't know what to say to help your child.
This is the reason we created the Wise for My Size Library. We want you to have the tools and techniques to support your child when they experience a challenge or difficulty. These stories plant new ideas and ways of thinking that let your child take what they need from the story.
As the months pass, your library of Mindset storybooks will build, and so will your knowledge, so when that tricky problem pops up, you can easily reach for the right book.
That moment when something falls into place is so powerful - you don't forget it, and this is what you want for your child. Don't force anything or be tempted to tell them the answer; let them mull it over, figure it out, trust them, and before you know it they will have their own Eureka moment that will stay with them for a lifetime.
We know that transformation is inevitable when children are taught HOW they think and not what to think.
The Wise for my Size Library is a selection of illustrated children's mindset books for ages 5 - 14 years.
What is included in your Wise for My Size Book Club?
Beautifully Illustrated Book
Each story follows a character your child will instantly relate to, finding themselves with a problem, dilemma, or something that is not going well. As the story progresses, your child will enjoy seeing the character learn to overcome their problem and find the solution.
The Wise for My Size Library is packed with stories about everyday occurrences - not feeling able to tidy your bedroom or worrying about starting a new club. Or they could use a metaphor to explain something like Aesop's fable or a fairy tale. Every story has a child at the heart of it, and that child solves their problems with a wise guide to help them.
Book Club Guide
Each month you will be supported to feel confident to help your child through the Book Club Guide. The Wisery gives your family a shared language to speak about mindset, emotions, or beliefs in a way that is easy to understand. This will provide you with ideas to help you know how to handle tricky topics and start conversations.
All grown-ups will be invited to join our Private Facebook group, Building Resilient Children, where we will provide additional support in the form of a community of like-minded parents who want to give their children skills for a lifetime. We will regularly post themed videos, additional activities for that month, and lots more. Lorna and Jac are both in the group and are there to answer questions and support you further.
It is easy to get started.
